Friendship Centre MMIW Walk/Run

“Indigenous women are four times more likely than non-Indigenous women to be victims of violence. The rate of homicides against First Nations, Metis, and Inuit women & girls is six times higher than the rate among their non-Indigenous counterparts.”

Join your community on Sunday, May 5th to remember, and raise awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls hosted by the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre. This 5 km walk/run will take place in Muskoseepi Park and the first 200 people to register ($10) will receive a unique medal.

11:00 - 5km Walk/Run
